MANAGING HAIR LOSS FOR MEN – HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR HAIR
Correctly treating hair loss in men is not that difficult. Getting accurate information and advice is difficult. While the arrival of the internet has made accurate and up to date advice more accessible than ever this is now more than drowned out by commercial hype and exaggeration. Outright lying is not the problem, the problem is exaggeration. There are a huge number of drugs, minerals, vitamins and plant extracts which have been shown to have some degree of positive effect on the hair in some people, usually modest. Many are oversold.

1. Take charge of your hair
Successful treatment of hair loss involves getting a lot of things right. Your diet must be as close to optimal as possible and you need to take your treatment. 24/7 for 365 days of the year. Only you can do this. Others can help but you are the one in charge, whether you take control or not.
2. Get a diagnosis
Before you can start effective treatment you need to have the correct diagnosis. Make sure you get one. While male pattern hair loss (MPHL) is by far the most likely diagnosis there can be other factors influencing your hair such as medication.
3. Do the right things consistently
Being persistent and consistent does not guarantee results but maximises your chances of your best possible outcome. Once you have found what works best for you then just stick to it and get on with your life.
